The Motenergy ME1616 motor
A brushless 3-phase, Y-connected Permanent Magnet Alternating Current motor with a radial air gap, otherwise known as PMAC motor.

2) Maximum Rotor speed of 6000 Rpm
3) Current: 250 Amps continuous
4) Peak current: 550 Amps AC continuous
5) Weighs approx. 48 pounds
6) Maximum 96 VDC battery systems
7) Sine/cosine speed sensor

These patented axial flux motors are designed to work with sinusoidal (sine wave) controllers such as the Sevcon Gen4.
NOTE: We do not recommend the use of square wave controllers with these motors. This may reduce the durability and efficiency of the motor, as well as void the warranty.
