Some frequently asked questions.

If there's still no answer to your question please do not hesitate to speak to one of our team! We promise no automated machines.

Yes - we need this so we can help to track your order and requirements. We collect and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (GPDR).

At the moment, we support: Bank Transfer, Paypal and Worldpay.

We prefer to use DHL and can offer a wide range of options, either express if you want it quickly or we offer the economy options if you are relaxed about arrival time. If you prefer, we can also accept your courier providing your account number; but this must be agreed first.

When you place an order with us either by phone or website, we will tell you if the components are already in stock before you place your order. With the nature of power electronics, the lead times can vary depending on what you require. If your order is a kit or system, there will obviously be added time on building and support but this will always be discussed with you first.

Most of the time, we have the stock already, but we will always stay in touch if this changes.

In the unlikely event you are not pleased with your components/system/kit, we offer a return providing you return the goods in the same condition they were sent within 30 days.

Manufacturing errors or warranty issues will of course provide you with a full refund or a placement at no extra cost. However, if you damage the components we will not refund you, including overvoltage and inappropriate cooling as some examples of this. If you're having difficulties getting your components to work as you intend please call us so we can help you.

If you have any questions about returns or support please contact us at any time.

Yes - we are an official distributor based in the UK for Sevcon. Sevcon was acquired by BorgWarner in 2017 and thus the Sevcon Gen4/Gen5 products may have a BorgWarner logo instead. These are the same products.

The Sevcon product ranges of Gen4, Gen5, HVLP and Dragon8 can only be communicated with via an "IXXAT USB TO CAN" device. This is because the compatible tool named "DVT" only supports this dongle. Other dongles such as Kvaser, PCAN etc will NOT work.

When purchasing your controllers/motors/systems from us please let us know your support requirements. We are highly experienced and unique experts on how to setup the motors and controllers and can help tailor it to your application to ensure you get the driveability and performance you expect. We will charge a setup fee with you as appropriate during consultation.
We have no means to be able to do this , payment is best by Bank transfer which all of the details are on the bottom of your Invoice. If credit card payment is the only option, then a separate invoice can be sent with a PayPal link, although we do tend to discourage this as the fees involved are very high.
Assuming all items are in stock, usually 4-6 weeks. However, we will discuss with you whether we are experiencing delays due to the availability of some items. Sometimes these are out of our control, we thank you for your co-operation.
The engineering team will work with the customer to understand the aims of the project. Using DVT software, we change parameters such as top speed, acceleration rate, and voltage. These values depend on the kits capabilities and the application's goals. We have a checklist that we send to our customers, which defines these parameters. It also lets us know if there are any I/O setups we need to be aware of when customising the cable harness.
