DCDC 1.2kW 800V to 12V Air Cooled

Introducing the Sevcon High Voltage DCDC range - fully encapsulated converters deliver a stable, isolated high power, low voltage DC supply for accessories such as lights, horns and wipers. This air-cooled 1200W variant operates with an input voltage of between 220V and 800V, outputting 12V. Full electrical isolation between the high and low voltage sides ensures safety. Designed from the ground up with functional safety in mind, options are available to comply with ISO26262 ASIL C.

Ideal for use on on and off road vehicles, agricultural machines and industrial trucks.

Communication:

The DCDC supports configuration, calibration, control and status monitoring over a CAN bus using the industry standard CANopen protocol. It is also fully usable without CAN, being controlled solely through physical IO.

To take full advantage of the features of CAN communication on a Sevcon product, an IXXAT CAN to USB device with Sevcon DVT Software subscription will be required.

Ingress Protection:

The Sevcon High Voltage DCDC range is IP66 rated, providing total protection against dust ingress and protection against water ingress during high powered pressure washing.

Connectivity:

High voltage connections are made through a 2-Way HVA Series connector.

Low voltage connections are made through M8 terminals.

Signal connections are made through an 8-Way Ampseal connector.
